This year's summer vacation from school continues to be very unique for siblings Fernando and Clara, as they are living and traveling with their parents aboard the family sailboat named "Volar." Fernando and Clara have grown during this trip and continue to challenge themselves in this continuation of their family adventure. In Haiti, Fernando and Clara discover an artifact that opens a door for them to engage with local culture, and once again they dedicate themselves to contribute to another country in which they are guests. Richard Lauridsen has created a two volume chapter book series to take beginner level Spanish learners on an adventure story about the potential of cooperation and learning. The author is a World Language teacher who has created Spanish resources for various ages of students and levels of Spanish learners.
