For fifteen thousand years. The Commonwealth has governed the Kab-Pat'iens Galaxy. But now, this once noble democratic alliance, whose founders walked as giants among the stars, is in its death throughs. Corruption has infected every layer of this once proud society, it's defenders, the Gladius Templars powerless to openly act against this corruption.
This corruption led to the greatest, most devastating war in centuries. The Conflagration. A devastating conflict, waged by Pa'lu Tu-Uus of the Trade League. Under the heels of the Soulless Ones, mindless robots that have no pity, mercy, or compassion, would seek to burn the galaxy to ashes.
At the center of this, is a band of heroes seeking to preserve the Commonwealth.
Lord Ji Go-Qi, an honorable Lord of the Gladius Templar Freehold. Who has dedicated to bringing the sins of the Trade League to light, and protecting the galaxy.
Gon-Lor Baratha, a by-the-book but sardonic Templar, appreciates his lieges desire to protect people, but does not approve of the lengths he's gone to do it.
In their quest, they would meet people who shared their desire to safeguard the Commonwealth from the machinations of the Trade League.
