Voice of The Mother Drum is an amazing collection of poems mainly of African origin. The ideas contained in this book are not peculiar to Africa alone, they can also apply to other cultures and people.
The poems in this book cut across diverse topics and ideas. They are meant to educate, enlighten and provide insights into some of the unique experiences of the author's life, from childhood days as a boy sitting at the top of the hills admiring the beautiful African sunset, through adulthood as a man with many experiences.
Voice of The Mother Drum takes you on a journey into the author's mindset. This book is a collection of over poems written during different periods by the authors while working as a tutor in one of the remote villages in Northern Nigeria. Voice of the Mother Drum is a pet project and the author hopes to reinvest some of the funds raised from this book into child education.
