Virgil's Peril

He used to be a man. That was only a short while ago, but his eroded mind recorded it as decades past. He viewed his transformation as a good thing. Especially since discovering his power How could he have ever wanted anything else?It has been a year and a half since Virgil, Pops and their friends defeated the marauders who tried to enslave the survivors of the Rage Plague. They paid a terrible price for their efforts but things are just getting back to normal in their little town of Clovis, California. Parts of the U.S. military have even surfaced, promising to lend more stability to a world that is still reeling from the destruction of modern civilization. But now, a new evil is rising, one that could destroy everything that the brave survivors have fought to protect. Seen through the eyes of Virgil, a young man who has matured in the post-apocalypse world, the story details the struggles of the inhabitants of Dragon's Lair to deal with new dangers that challenge their survival. Those dangers include the possible meltdown of a nuclear power station, a woman claiming to be the President of the United States, and hordes of people whose minds have been eroded by a terrible plague, turning them into mindless cannibalistic murderers who hunt the uninfected as prey.
