Beskrivelse
Many people do not know the difference between responsibility positions and titles. In the modern church, people are seeking for positional titles without a portfolio. Many are also occupying positions for which they have not been training and have no knowledge so there is often a leadership clash in the system. This book educates on leadership responsibilities and how duties ought to be performed. It focuses on leadership as teamwork with relation to the fivefold ministry and explains how each aspect of ministry and department has to function effectively like every joint of the body fitted together without causing frictions or accidents.
This book is made up of ten chapters that define various leadership positions as well as the duties and responsibilities that they are supposed to perform so that people will rightly divide the word of truth in real life. The contents include:
• Chapter one focuses on ministerial offices that include responsibilities of the fivefold ministry as a team of ministers.
• Chapter two focuses on the importance of deacons and heads of departments.
• Chapter three explains the role of ushers, protocol officers, and armor-bearers.
• Chapter four examines the responsibilities of various terminologies that describe prayer ministries either as warriors or intercessors.
• Chapter five takes a close look into the youth and gender departments that have become the major pillars that hold the four corners of the fivefold ministry.
• Chapters six and seven explains the importance of the administrative office alongside the media and public relations.
• Chapters eight and nine sheds light on the music and engineering ministries, as well as the role of events and welfare.
• Chapters ten to twelve conclude the journey with an examination of maintenance and sustenance of the physical structures that host our worship.
Each chapter concludes with a summary that is expected to provide answers to some of the critical questions in the Christian Church and the environment.
