Beskrivelse
The removal of blood from a vein, primarily for transfusion or diagnosis, is defined as phlebotomy. Phlebotomy is primarily used to diagnose and monitor a patient's disease condition. It involves highly developed and rigorously tested procedures and equipment, all designed to ensure patient safety and comfort, as well as the integrity of the collected sample.
Phlebotomists play an important role in the treatment and diagnosis of patients. The following are some of the most important aspects of laboratory testing:
Diagnosis and detection: in order to determine what is happening in the patient's health.
Therapeutic evaluation: developing the best treatment or selecting the best medications.
Health monitoring: to ensure that therapy or treatment is effective.
