The book explores the challenge of uprooting a family with two small children to travel cross-country and maintaining a healthy relationship in a town full of sexual vice.
- Poker continues to be played in huge numbers. In 2015, "The Colossus" drew 14,284 players, who entered the contest a total of 22,374 times. The entire WSOP in 2016 attracted 103,512 entries, the first time the game's biggest stage hit the six-figure mark in one festival.
- ESPN's telecast of the final table of the WSOP main event saw 1.2 million viewers in 2016.
- The book isn't only about poker -- it's about Vegas itself and will appeal to residents as well as vacationers. The Las Vegas Sun reports the city welcomes 41 million visitors per year.
