Vega's self-titled debut album for Euterpe Records is a phenomenal success. Marie soon learns, however, that fame is costly. Only their shared friendship allows the band members to survive the craziness of being rock stars. With each successful album, Marie and the band witness the unsavory underbelly of the music industry: picky producers, pushy reporters, zealous bodyguards, overeager fans, and other fame-induced trauma. Marie tries desperately to keep her sanity while riding her new roller coaster life.
