A story of two childhood neighbours-- Pratapchandra and Birjan. Pratapchandra is born as a blessing to his mother from Goddess Asthabhuja. When Birjan comes with her family to stay in Pratapchandra's house as tenants, they start spending time together and fall for each other. But Birjan is married to another man. What happens when her husband dies? Will Pratapchand marry Birjan or go on to fulfill his mother's dream?
