The Earth has been changed but not for the better. The sun has disappeared and the Evil, thanks to Lario Exgesis, has been successful in creating a deadlier vampire species. Fortunately, the Daughters of Benel and their vampire bonds were created for these times, and they will not stop fighting until they've landed a crushing blow and spoil Lario Exgesis's plan to rule the World.
