In a faraway galaxy, there is a planet called Valistraire, full of goodness and love; its people live under the rule of a kind and gentle emperor. However, when a wicked king decides to invent a monstrous substance, the world splits into two kingdoms. One still retains the name of Valistraire, while the other is called Grendaediuh- The Land of Darkness. It is so-called, for King Grendalie uses the effects of red energy, his own vile creation, to bring about evil and destruction.
Neither are the good people of Valistraire spared from the effects of this evil energy, as there is much corruption even within its own borders. Meanwhile, King Grendalie seems to grow ever more powerful. What will change this horrible fate? That is the challenge of Jaspari's mission, a difficult and painful one, yet full of wisdom and grace, as he learns the importance of virtue in the quest for eternal life.
