Knee and shoulder pain can have various causes. Here are a few possible ones. Knee pain: 1. Sports injuries: such as sprains, ligament or cartilage tears, fractures, among others. 2. Joint wear and tear: osteoarthritis is one of the main causes of chronic pain in the knee, especially in older people. Bursitis: inflammation of the bursae (small fluid-filled sacs) that cushion the knee joint. Tendonitis: inflammation of the tendons in the knee, usually caused by repetitive activities or injury.Shoulder pain: 1. Traumatic injuries: such as dislocations, fractures, dislocations or rotator cuff injuries. Bursitis of the shoulder: inflammation of the bursae in the shoulder, which can be caused by injury or repetitive motion. 3. Rotator cuff tendinitis: inflammation of the tendons surrounding the shoulder joint, usually due to aging or injury. 4. Shoulder osteoarthritis: as in the knee, joint wear and tear can also affect the shoulder joint.
