Beskrivelse
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is investing $4.8 million in an integrated program that addresses climate change impacts on water related to agriculture, health, and biodiversity. The program will use geo-spatial analyses to address water supply and demand issues and will build local capacity to use climate data to inform strategic planning and water allocation programs. Downstream users will receive support with water harvesting and more efficient water use, and farmers will receive support with practices that sustainably increase agricultural yields while enhancing resilience to climate change.
