The unprecedented growth of Terrorism globally underlines the urgent need to seek better ways and means to control and eventually eliminate terrorist violence. Consequently, the subject has become the prime concern of policy makers, implementing agencies, social scientists and the general public. Over the years, scholars have intensified their research effort to understand the dynamics of terrorism both in its theoretical and operational aspects. The present volume surveys the existing literature on the subject to make the information available at one place to all concerned and particularly to scholars who need to fill the research gaps towards a better understanding of the phenomenon of terrorism.
