Beskrivelse
Unshakable Desire is a poignant, bittersweet
autobiography, which chronicles the journey of Trevor Lloyd McBayne, a young boy born into poverty in Jamaica in the sixties, to earning his first million dollars at the age of twenty-four. His keen sense of entrepreneurship, which he inherited from his queen-his mother, brought him to the pinnacle of his career as a contractor, and winning the National Contactor of the Year award for the continental United States. But like many rags-to-riches story, there is a topple-from-grace. McBayne aptly pens this fall as "being in the valley", and we are reminded that: an absent parent can teach the toughest lesson, money and power can cause a tumorous cycle, and entering the "valley" can be the best university.
