As a professional credential awarded by the American Hospital Association, Certified Healthcare Constructor CHC is for those who work in healthcare construction and want to compete for the best positions in healthcare facility engineering. To earn CHC one must either possess a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of healthcare construction experience or an Associate's degree with 7 years of experience. Work experience in the following functional areas are required: Construction/project management, estimating, planning, marketing, project superintendent or foreman, architect/engineer design, or design and construction position within a healthcare organization.
