Unlucky Lizzie

Minnesota Governor's daughter Lizette Burnquist is beautiful, spirited and talented, but she has one big problem - any man who falls in love with her is doomed to die an early and sudden death. Lizette has flown to the tall pines of northern Minnesota to paint her nature landscapes and to escape the pitying stares of St. Paul society and the nickname they've given her - "Unlucky Lizzie" - when Nathan Faulkner, wealthy owner of Faulkner Lumber, finds her nearly frozen to death in a snowstorm.
