A Professional in the Academic WorldA fascinating real life look at the academic world through the eyes of a practicing architect who completed his professional career as a faculty member at two universities. It was more than just educating the students who took his classes and advising them on their career paths. He was a part of their lives as they dealt with a variety of problems and prepared for job interviews and graduation.He served as director of Colorado State University's Rural Education Assistance Program, helping more than forty rural school districts to revitalize their facilities. He appeared as an expert witness in a lawsuit representing the rural schools of Colorado which resulted in an award of $120 million by the state to improve the health and safety of Colorado schools. For his work with the rural schools the governor of Colorado recognized the author with an award.
