About 1000 men from Union Parish served in the Confederate Army or the local militia guard. This book offers the service record of several hundred of them, and features portraits and short biographies of over 50 of them. This is the sixth in a series of books listing the confederates of a Louisiana Parish. Other parishes in this series were Avoyelles, Felicianas, Pointe Coupee, Rapides and St. Landry.
