Beskrivelse
While much of the fighting during the American Civil War focused on the struggles in Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia, and along the Mississippi River, the coastal states were not left untouched. Port cities brought vital supplies into the Confederacy from overseas. Critical railroads and infrastructure crossed through and connected the disparate parts of the South, and vital industries supplied the armies of rebellion. The Union was quick to take action against these, blockading ports, capturing them when possible, and raiding the interior to destroy railroads and factories. This scenario book contains rules to simulate nine battles fought along the Atlantic coastline from 1862-1865.
These miniature wargame scenarios are designed to be used with almost any American Civil War regimental or brigade level set of rules. Rules are included for figures based on 20, 30, 40, 50, and 100 historic men per figure/stand. Times are given for 10, 15, and 20 minutes per game turn. Maps are in full color, as are the numerous color photographs of the modern battlefields. This book does not contain core rules for playing miniature wargames.
