Nat's life is full of abuse, neglect, and loneliness. But that all changes the day she stumbles upon a terrifying wolf in the forest who somehow seems to like her.
When he transforms into a gorgeous boy right in front of her eyes, what else can she do but take him in? She'll have to pretend he's her brother if she wants to keep him though, which makes it awfully difficult when they fall in love.
But Caleb doesn't care what anyone else thinks. He's ready to fight the world for Nat-except it's his own body fighting to keep him away. Each time they touch, it begins burning him alive from the inside...and stops a certain part from functioning. Fate is a cruel mistress and has other plans for him.
Of course, Caleb isn't so good at following anyone's plans but his own, and his plan is to protect and love Nat forever. So only one question remains:
How can they be together when his body won't allow it...as a human?

"What are you up to?"
Innocent eyes stared back at her, and he opened his door, stepping out and starting to pull off his clothes.
Nat eyed him suspiciously as she exited the vehicle, crossing her arms on the top and trying to keep from looking at him. It was always such torture seeing his gorgeous muscled body, aching to run her hands all over him, only to have him need to shift almost immediately if she did.
But he didn't shift after undressing, and she watched warily as he walked around to her. Her breath caught at the sight, her eyes helplessly running down his body.
"Nat..." He slid his arms around her waist, looking at her with heavy eyes. "Will you do something for me?"
She frowned up at him.
"I swear, Caleb, if you brought me all the way up here just to try to mount me, I will lock myself in the car until you're ready to leave!"
