Nicole sat in her hospital bed lost in thought. Not only had she been shot & left for dead, but her best friend
since grade school the only female she loved & trusted like a sister was pregnant by her fiance. The man she
loved, the man she had given her all to & would die for without a second thought. Tears ran down Nicole's face
as she accepted the heartbreaking fact that the two people she loved more than anything on earth (HER
family) had caused her more pain than any bullet wound ever would.
