Fruit desserts are one of our favorite desserts. We love pies, cobblers, crisp, cakes and more made with fruit. I have included a wide variety of desserts using fresh, frozen and canned fruits. All your favorite fruit cobblers, fried pies, turnovers, dumplings, cakes and pies are included. I have also included desserts and trifles made from your favorite fresh or canned fruits.A fresh fruit pie baking in the oven means home to me. My mother would bake fresh pies quite often. I still see the joy on her face when we devoured her pies. Fresh fruit pies have a smell and taste that compares to no other pie. I have included all my mother's favorite recipes for fruit pies and tarts. Being from the south, fried pies and fruit dumplings are a mainstay for fresh, frozen or canned fruits. Fried pies are a southern staple and are made from all kinds of fruit. Cakes are one of the premier desserts. There is nothing more delicious than a beautiful cake on your dessert table. Layer cakes, bundt cakes and sheet cakes are all included in the recipes.
