Ukiyoburo Shikitei Sanba

The book consists of two parts. The first part describes the scene of Men's Bath from morning to afternoon in a noisy atmosphere. Among the bathers, there are dozens of characters, such as paralytic Tunqi, 70-year-old reclusive old man, Kimbei with a child, the a boastful quack doctor, a foreigner who mistook another person's underwear for a towel, the drunkard and the blind, as well as 19 small scenes. The second part describes the Women's Bath which is also very lively. There were women of various identities in the bath pool, such as geishas, maids, daughters, mothers, daughters-in-law, mothers-in-law and foster nurses with a large age span. There are 16 small scenes in total. Characters of these people of all ages and both sexes who come to bathe are shaped distinctly through dialogues, which is very interesting. The book is illustrated with colored pictures.
