Two Works for Piano

The Panoramas Suite for Piano, Op. 116 could be called a study in contrasts. The "Prelude", with its theme and variations, and it's formal character, harks back to the Baroque era. "Of Mountains" carries us to a timeless place where mountains, in their massive grandeur, speak of boundless ages. The "Valse" invites us to dream of a quiet evening, and a moment of serene reflection. "Consolation", Op.117 is a quiet and soothing piece which harks back to simpler time.
