Beskrivelse
As part of a school assignment, Dea has been asked to bring a flag other than the Canadian one for show-and-tell. Luckily for her, she recalls her family having a double-headed flag hanging on the living room wall, right below the Canadian one. Finding a flag was the easy part of the task. Dea also needs to know what to share with her classmates when presenting it. The given assignment sparked curiosity within her - why did she have two flags hanging in the living room? Where does the double-headed eagle one come from? Little did she know that these questions would open up a whole new world full of understanding - that although born and raised a Canadian, part of Dea is also Albanian. The book, "Two Countries, Two Flags, One Me" was written to promote a positive sense of individuality and self-esteem in children who come from multicultural backgrounds through fun facts and pictures.
