TURN OVER THE ROCK is a surprising book about two things that rarely are spoken about in the same breath: marketing and humanity. Tyson Knauf comes by his views on both honestly. On one side, Tyson is a devout and kind family man, who has National Geographic night over at his house, so his kids' friends can come experience nature first hand. In one of the most poignant sections of the book, Tyson speaks about a simple story where, as a child, he was facing off with a wild bird inside a shed, and he decided to be a "perch", not a "predator". He then elaborates about the simple opposition of perch and predator, speaking about a new age of marketing, where you don't need to predate on your target audience. This is, after all, a book about grace.
