As Nikki tries her best to be a gracious host, she attends a murder scene with her detective boyfriend Hawk. As an amateur detective, Nikki is keen to figure out the gruesome murder of Howard Blanche. As Nikki and Hawk investigate further, they discover that there is no shortage of suspects, and the killer may be closer to home than they realize.
