If you're ever in downtown Toronto and in the market for a car, you might run into a tall and pretty twenty-three year old automotive engineering student and part- time car salesperson in the showroom. Complete with high heels, long blond hair and full face of makeup, Carly Rossi has never appeared in public without sporting her fully created executive look. On the outside, it appears that Carly has it all. But behind the mask, you'll find a completely different woman: traumatized, insecure, and lonely. A survivor of a horrific car crash that left her with serious injuries and months of recovery when she was seventeen, the two inch scar that permanently resides on her forehead reminds her everyday of the accident that changed her life forever. Carly's lifelong dream of driving California's Pacific Coast Highway seems as elusive as her repairing the fractured relationship with her once closest ally, her sister Maki. But an unexpected visit to the hospital leads Carly to an ironic encounter with a special doctor who holds the key to uncovering Carly's past lies.
