True or False: Short Stories

These stories are a mixture of true and made-up tales. I am not going to tell you which is which. Let's just say, the more unbelievable ones are true. That leaves the gentle, creditable stories as false.

One story which is true, will be identified, but only because it is so unbelievable it made me seem like a totally incompetent writer, and vanity got the better of me.

Although many are written in the first person, (I), I would like to point out I was not actually involved in all of these true ones. I committed no crime. I was told by people I knew who were involved, or they simply came from gossip about events.
