Tommy, Heather, and Jake are going through some of the experiences of middle school; peer pressure, bullying, and fitting in. It seems like sixth grade is going to continue just the way it started. But when they're kidnapped by their bus driver--Mr. Smith--and are taken to an underground lab to work on inventions, everything in their lives is about to change.
