This book 'Tribal Development Programmes and Social Transformation: A Study of Yerukula Tribe' is based on an extensive field study of a denotified criminal tribe. Yerukulas are an ancient indigenous tribe in South India. They are predominantly spread in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Tamilanadu. During the colonial period this tribe was made to suffer with undeliable Social Stigma as a Criminal Tribe, Thus they experience Social Exclusion on account of the social stigma.
