Trial by Paradox

Being a mage just got way more complicated.

Trials have never been Demi's strength, especially ones that challenge her use of magic. With the Creator of Magic demanding Demi prove her worthiness as a member of the Nightshade Guild, Demi finds herself stripped of her demonic abilities and forced to face the tribunal with only the powers she can cast.

To make matters worse, she wakes to find herself not only without Adrian, but with another in his place. William, the mercenary incubus who hates her, immediately starts professing fonder feelings, ones she never expected to receive, let alone want.

When the battle turns back toward hunting her demonic father once more, Demi's driven to decide whether to trust William and if leaning on others for help is the right thing to do.
