In the year 2082, and a morality war has destroyed democracy and replaced it with a reimagined monarchy. The new king's obsession with virginity influences the people of New Victorland's capitol, Diamond City, to marry and keep virgin wives. Three women from various social classes must navigate their own circumstances while maintaining the laws of the Keeping. When the king chooses Danya as his bride, she sees first hand what the Keeping has done to society. But it's the beginning of the end because resister tribes in the outlands are hell bent on destroying New Victorland, and everything it stands for.
