Trees of the World

Photographer Tomáš Míček focuses mainly on free-standing trees. He has delighted many readers with his photo books. He captured the “presence” of trees and their charm in an almost mystical way. He combines his intuitive approach with the perfection of technical photography. The original impetus for this adventure was the aesthetic charm, amazement at the diversity and expressive power of trees: redwoods in California, strange African baobabs, or Australian resinous animals that look like they weren’t even out of this world.
