Throughout the years, few people have been thought of as traitors, but in actuality, many people have acted in treasonous ways. It is up to every one of us to keep treason out of our country and it will take all of us to make sure that it happens.Treason is a crime of betraying your own country. Benedict Arnold was a soldier turned traitor during the American Revolution. He gave our enemy secrets that cost men's lives. But he is not the only traitor around. When we as citizens make decisions not to support our country out of ignorance, we can be guilty of committing treasonous acts.
