Beskrivelse
With 6112 meter high (20,052-feet) Chacraraju was called by the famous French climber Lionel Terray, who was the first to climb it, "The Impossible Peak."
This mountain in the Peruvian Andes is one of the most difficult and dangerous on the entire continent. Its level of difficulty for any of its routes far exceeds all known gradations.
This is the chronicle of two young climbers repeating the route opened on the south face by the North American alpinist John Bouchard and the French Marie Mounier. A thousand meters of a vertical couloir of ice and snow, which confronted them with death.
