»Transparency Versus Confidentiality. An Area of Conflict in Consumer Disputes in Court and Consumer Arbitration Boards«: This study is dedicated to the contrast between transparency and confidentiality in consumer disputes. Comparing courts and consumer arbitration boards, the study comes to the conclusion that there are currently still considerable publicity deficits in the application of the law. On the other hand, the procedural law for both venues de lege lata does not offer optimal framework conditions for harnessing the advantages of confidentiality for an amicable end to consumer disputes either.
