Translation in the development of science in Europe

The essays reveal the bibliography of research and the most important historical milestones in the emergence and development of translation in medieval Europe. Events related to the activity of translators of religious and scientific treatises of the Middle Ages are described. Based on the analysis of historical domestic and foreign sources, the nature of translation and its significance for the development of pedagogical and educational processes in Europe in the Middle Ages are identified.
