The book is a qualitative research study focusing on the barriers parents face when they play the key role of a caregiver in the lives of their young adult son or daughter with autism. This study talks about their stress and hopelessness, and their unmet needs. This study is also an effort to expand on the social capital theory in the light of investing in relationships and networking those relationships in times of need.
