Three men, one confused young woman--what could go wrong?



Lucy Clarke has given up on men after a disastrous affair with a manipulative professor. Still, she is lucky enough to have a "do-over", a year in New Zealand courtesy of a Fulbright scholarship.

A cocky you American determined to win her, an upstairs neighbor who senses she isn't ready to give away her heart though he's lost his, and the man she thought she'd left behind in Ohio all challenge Lucy's desire to manage her own life. An unplanned pregnancy leads Lucy from New Zealand to the United States, the United Kingdom, and, finally, Spain.

Here, she finds herself and her life's work, creates an unconventional family, and centers her life around three men who have nothing in common except Lucy.
