Both books draw on the power of personal stories to inspire, empower, and encourage women with ovarian cancer. TORCH: Still Burning Brightly! is a collection of 26 compelling stories by women in the Ovarian Cancer Support Group, sponsored by the Virginia R. Cvetko Patient Education Center at Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center at Dallas. In these stories, the women reveal ways they draw from their emotional and spiritual resources to find meaning and hope through the ovarian cancer journey.
