Beskrivelse
Few places in Italy have attracted foreigners as Florence has. Since the times of Goethe's Italian Journey, followed by the aristocrats of half of Europe, the Tuscan capital has been the destination of pilgrimages of the young off-springs of the European Intelligentsia, artists, musicians and noblemen who came here to spend the winter. The "Englishmen" of Room With a View were really Americans, Russians, Germans, Poles. Cosmopolitan city since the times of the Medicis, Florence has never renounced the role of City of Art, hospitable and charismatic.
