Tom the Owl

Tom the Owl, lives in a mesquite tree alone out in a desert somewhere. He doesn't know how he got there; he suspects he may have owl amnesia. He stays put, clinging to the lone mesquite tree in spite of his loneliness, until one hot day when there wasn't a cloud in the sky, a long, pink Caddy speeds around a corner on the dusty road near his tree, tossing Tom a gift.
