Life on planet TOA.5T has become unbearable. The sun is dying and has been for centuries. As the red giant grows, temperatures rise, and civilization shatters into hundreds of individual colonies, each struggling for survival. Sixteen-year-old Daniel is given a simple task: Travel with his father to deliver an offer of trade to Hazelberg, a neighboring colony. But when tensions escalate, and secrets are revealed, Daniel is cast into the wasteland's torrid heat. Now, he's in a race against time to make it home alive and save his colony from the treachery within. Things are about to explode.
