Abandoning land for the sea, David and his grandson, Brandon sail into the sunrise toward the wildest weather the Atlantic had to offer. As they neared their destination, David wondered if he had foolishly jeopardized Brandon's life and as if in answer, the sky turned black, the ocean churned, lightning and thunder encircled them followed by an onslaught of giant waves threatening to make them part of the furious sea.
