To Hell or Sligo

A tall tale about buried gold brings an unhinged set of characters to a mad town and pits them against even stranger locals. The events of this partially true story take place over one weekend which unleashes mayhem in their environment and a good dose of humour in yours. This is a comedy of errors in which a quest to find a buried golden treasure pits a Vietnamese fighting monk and his mother up against three disparate sets of paramilitary gunmen, a religious commune of female supremacists, a stoner and his family, a Yorkshire terrier with anger management problems, a hotel in which everything that could go wrong usually does, and a crazy insular town on the west coast of Ireland situated in County Hell. There is a thin line between truth and fiction, and you won't find it here in this story that mixes real characters with fictional, and true stories with comedy fiction. Some stories are not meant to be told.
