Gzifa falls asleep in the library of the Sunrise Keep and awakens on a small strip of sandy beach within a sheltered cove. While she is certain this is a dream, things are far too real for her liking and she finds she cannot wake up.

Gzifa has little choice but to move forward in the hopes that she can return to the waking world. She quickly finds that she is not alone in this endeavor; and together with her strange new companions, she journeys to the heart of the island in search of a door to many worlds.

Though she does not know it yet, a great threat awaits her in the world beyond the door; one that seeks to destroy everything in its path. Gzifa has been called to face that threat and restore peace. Along the way, she will discover a wealth of strength within herself.

Gzifa enters Veronus as a new person. Her trial is passed and she is seeking the answer to one burning question:
