Beskrivelse
An ambush in Yemen results in the deaths of ten Navy SEALs, mere collateral damage in the eyes of the powerful military industrial complex, or MIC. To Roach and Scratch, the two SEALs who survive, the dead are comrades-in-arms who deserved better.
As the two SEALs delve into the MIC's convoluted plans, they discover war has become a matter of supply and demand. To ensure a constant need for military equipment, the MIC continuously orchestrates new wars, essentially harvesting American youths to further profit margins and increase the military power of the MIC's high-ranking Pentagon allies.
The casualties of the MIC's betrayal extend well beyond the Navy SEALs' comrades. Scratch and Roach discover attacks on civilian aircraft, apparently the responsibility of radical terrorists, were initiated by the MIC to drum up support for a new war.
One such flight carried Scratch's children, parents, and pregnant wife. The MIC leaders don't know it, but they just sparked a war on their own doorstep.
