"Timber Sale" is a literary fiction that tells the saga of the huge Industrial complex of the Canadian Western Lumber Company including Fraser Mills, the largest lumber mill in the British Empire, and its logging camps, transportation system, and headquarters in both Maillardville, B.C. and the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island. Contrasted are the mindset of its creator, Alexander Duncan McRae. and the mindset of his workers, French Canadians, Sikh, Chinese and Japanese men from 1907 to 1916.
